The seminar is sponsored by the Louisiana Workforce Commission, Louisiana Small Business Development Center, NSU and Coordinating and Development Cooperation. It will be held at the Russell Hall, Room 213 on the NSU Campus, Natchitoches, LA.
The seminar will cover Incumbent Worker Training Program as well as Employment Laws. Employment Law topics will include Employment At-Will, EEOC, USDOL-FMLA Audits, Social Media Updates/Privacy Protection Act, Genetic Information Discrimination Act, La .Equal Pay for Women Act, The Retaliation Fix, Wage Payment Act, as well as Employee Criminal Behavior . Check in time will be from 8:00am to 8:30am. The seminar will begin promptly at 8:30am. This informative seminar will last approximately 3 hours.
The speakers will be Jay Cook and Price Barker. Jay will discuss Incumbent Worker Training Program. Mr. Barker will speak on the employment laws.
